I just wanted to wish everyone at KoreanClass 101 …
A VERY HAPPY (FIRST YEAR) BIRHTDAY !!!!
I just saw this new article in New York Times published on august 12th titled: A Taste of Failure Fuels an Appetite for Success at South Korea’s Cram Schools .
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/08/13/world/asia/13cram.html?_r=1&oref=slogin
My question is about that article’s picture: what is that toilet paper doing on that student desk? LoL ![]()
and i see another one on the desk of another student in the back ^^.
It seems that they are in the middle of an exam ^^.
It’s the first time ever i see that lol, is that how it is in all korea’s schools? is that always or just when they are in exams? lol
btw, they are sittting so close to each other hehe, it’s very easy to cheat like that
THIS ADVANCE LESSON IS GOOD, TEACH BETTER COMPREHENSION SKILL AND THE TOPIC IS MORE INTERESTING

Your comment came up just now
Hmm… haha I think the student has a cold or something ![]()
And this is a bit different from what it is like in an actual school - it’s a 학원 that the picture is showing - there are some 학원s where students *live* - they study, eat, sleep there - I think that’s way too much! T.T
