Welcome to Three Step Korean Practice by KoreanClass101.com. In this lesson, you will practice how to casually describe a thing or an experience.
Let’s look at the main dialogue.
Two people are having a conversation.
새벽 예불 소리가 인상적이었고, 차 마시는 시간도 좋았어요. (Saebyeok yebul soriga insangjeogieotgo, cha masineun sigando joasseoyo.)
The dawn prayer sound was impressive, and the tea time was also good.
분위기가 좋았겠네요. (Bunwigiga joatgenneyo.)
Sounds like the atmosphere was nice.
In this dialogue, you see the past tense endings -았어요 / -었어요, which are used to describe past experiences.
인상적이었고 means “was impressive, and…,” and 좋았어요 means “was good.” By using these forms, the speakers are sharing what they experienced in the past.
Let’s practice with this grammar more in this lesson.
