Gina:‘Hongcho’ became a popular diet beverage during the vinegar diet fad. Unlike raw vinegar, which is too sour to drink by itself, ‘Hongcho’ is sweet and goes down smoothly. It's normally added to either milk or mineral water, depending on your taste. Many Koreans also enjoy ‘Hongcho’ while relaxing in a dry sauna.
