| In this lesson, you’ll learn conversational phrases to answer the question, "What are you going to talk about?" After watching this video, you’ll be able to introduce a topic you want to talk about. |
| Now, let’s take a look at some conversational phrases! |
| Listen to the dialogue. |
| 무엇에 대해 이야기 할 거예요? (Mueose daehae iyagi hal geoyeyo?) |
| 제 취미에 대해 이야기 할 거예요. (Je chwimie daehae iyagi hal geoyeyo.) |
| Once more with the English translation. |
| 무엇에 대해 이야기 할 거예요? (Mueose daehae iyagi hal geoyeyo?) |
| “What are you going to talk about?” |
| 제 취미에 대해 이야기 할 거예요. (Je chwimie daehae iyagi hal geoyeyo.) |
| “I'm going to talk about my hobbies.” |
| First of all you'll need to learn how to say “What are you going to talk about?” |
| That's: |
| 무엇에 대해 이야기 할 거예요? (Mueose daehae iyagi hal geoyeyo?) |
| Listen to it again: |
| 무엇에 대해 이야기 할 거예요?, 무엇에 대해 이야기 할 거예요? (Mueose daehae iyagi hal geoyeyo?, Mueose daehae iyagi hal geoyeyo?) |
| This Korean sentence literally translates as “What about talk going to?” |
| But it means “What are you going to talk about?”. |
| Now, how do you answer this question? |
| The pattern is: |
| [topic]에 대해 이야기 할 거예요. ([topic]e daehae iyagi hal geoyeyo.) |
| “I'm going to talk about [topic].” |
| This Korean sentence literally translates as “[topic] about talk going to do.” |
| But it means “I'm going to talk about [topic].”. |
| For example: |
| “I'm going to talk about my hobbies.” |
| 제 취미에 대해 이야기 할 거예요., 제 취미에 대해 이야기 할 거예요. (Je chwimie daehae iyagi hal geoyeyo., Je chwimie daehae iyagi hal geoyeyo.) |
