What does 매미 업다 or 애미업다 mean??

This is something you heard right - not something you read? What is the context?

매미 업다 - to carry a cicada on one's back
애미업다 - to carry Amie on one's back or if '애미' (어미 "mom" 경상도 사투리) then  to carry Mom on one's back

if 업다 is '없다' then

매미 없다 - there is no cicada
애미 없다 - Amie's not here
애미 없다 - Mother is not here/there i.e. Mother is missing

Hopefully Director Kim will come along with his great insight

Hi, orbiter

매미 means cicadas, while 애미 means mother (informal)

I believe that you heard 애미 없다. Literally, it means 'You don't have a mother', but it means something else bad like 'You don't have any root/ You are a bad guy'.
