You are exhausted from working all week in Korea! Well, today you are taking the day off and you are sleeping all day…at least you thought you were. First, your Korean roommate bursts through the door and argues in Korean, “don’t sleep all day, but go shopping with me!” You scream at her in Korean, “let’s not go shopping but sleep instead!” Angrily she stomps out the door mumbling. Moments later your boyfriend calls and says in Korean, “don’t sleep but let’s go to lunch in Seoul.” You tell him in Korean, “I’m tired so let’s not have lunch, but dinner instead.” Hurt, he agrees to pick you up at 7:00 PM. Seconds later, the phone rings again. It’s your boss! He screams at you in Korean, “Do NOT sleep but get to work! You’re late!” Lunch and shopping are looking good now!
