Your first interview in Korea went so well it landed you your dream job! Then, things went straight downhill from there. You haven’t impressed your bosses at all since you started working for the Korean company. But today, it seems as if things may start looking up for you. Today, some very important customers from Germany are visiting your company and you are the only one that can speak German! Your bosses discuss what they are going to do in Korean (as if you aren’t even standing there!), “It would be different if only we could trust him!” Your other boss replies in Korean, “It would be different if we had someone else, but we have no choice.” Your first boss argues in Korean, “It would be different if only they spoke Korean and we could just meet them!” You finally interrupt and tell them in Korean, “It would be different if I wasn’t so confident in speaking German! Just give me a chance!” They both reply in Korean, “It would be different if only you hadn’t messed up so badly already!”
