It’s Friday night and everyone is getting ready to go out for a nice evening in Korea. Your father seems to wants to keep everyone around though. He wants to know what everyone’s plans are so he asks everyone in Korean, “How about I buy a nice, big Korean dinner for everyone tonight at that delicious restaurant down the street?” Hating to break your dad’s heart, you tell him in Korean, “Oh Dad, I’m sorry but I already have plans to go to dinner in Seoul with my boyfriend!” Your dad argues in Korean, “Oh come on, let’s all plan to have dinner together…your boyfriend can come with us!” Your brother interrupts and says, “Sorry dad, I made plans already to go to a movie that starts in fifteen minutes.” Again, you dad pleads in Korean, “We can all plan to go to the movie and then have dinner afterwards!” You both simultaneously yell in Korean, “DAD, we already decided to do something else tonight! We’ll plan something with the family tomorrow.” Hurt, your dad turns to the family dog and asks in Korean, “Do you plan to go out tonight, too?!”
