Your favorite professor at the university you attend in Korea has arranged for you to have an interview at a very prestigious Korean company. You have already had two interviews and they asked you to come in today for a final interview with the supervisor. You weren’t nervous until now, but your hands are shaking and you are a little queasy. You don’t just want the job, but you also want to make your professor proud. After a short wait, a small Korean woman walks in and greets you. She introduces herself in Korean as the CEO of the company. You shake her hand and introduce yourself as you both take your seats to begin the interview. The first thing she asks in Korean is what you have to offer their company…what are your abilities? As you begin to answer, you stutter and stumble because you cannot remember how to say “I can” or “I am able” in Korean. Well, even if you CAN she wouldn’t know now!
