In the past, ’special challenge’ has meant anything from pop-quizzes to his grandmother’s secret recipe…blech, now THAT was a challenge! Well, your wife’s Korean grandmother finally heard your stomach growl! It almost scared her half to death…she thought for sure you had some kind of animal bursting out of your stomach! After your wife calmed her down and explained in Korean that you were just hungry, you all had a good laugh…well, everyone except you. Her Korean grandmother is determined though to teach you how to speak Korean right after you have a good meal. She sets you down at the table with some of the best Korean food you have ever put in your mouth…or maybe you are just starving. After you finish your first helping, she holds the pan out to you as if she is offering you more and asks you something in Korean. She repeats the Korean words again, waiting for you to repeat them to her. Your training has begun. If you want more of this heavenly Korean substance in your empty belly, you had better start repeating!
