using 갖다

i have question, 갖다/가지다 is mean "to have" not sure how and when it's should be used.. can anybody help..

Hey 카에르

갖다 is the abbreviation for 가지다.
It's almost same thing.
for example in English, we can use "it is" -> "it's"
something like this, 가지다 -> 갖다
but i recommend you write 가지다 because it's basic form.
