| anyone know how 이게 is formed? coz i kept seeing this word and i wonder why is 이게used and not 이거? |

It's a contraction of 이것이.
Now don't ask me why it is, because I still don't know why 하 + 여 = 해. I guess because 하여 is really hard to pronounce so they just decided to make it 해. |

| Ahh thanks alot! but where does the 이 comes from? i mean the 2nd one is that the subject marking particle? |

Yes, it is a subject marking particle.
이것이 > 이게
이것은 > 이건
