Beg Les S5, #8 and #9

Is the grammer pattern "hal su do isseoyo" (Beg Les S5 #9) interchangeable with the pattern "hal gi do mollayo" (Beg Les S5 #8)? It seems they were both translated into English as the same meaning, as "might".
