When you have written the syllable and can fit a consonant at the end, which key you use to go to the next syllable?
My method is slow...

Just keep typing. The input system will know when you've put in the first jamo of the next syllable.

It usually splits the syllables properly but sometimes it doesn't. For example, I can't write hangul in hangul? Same with hanguk, which seems like a fairly important word.

Are you sure about that? You're hitting the keys ㅎㅏㄴㄱㅡㄹ one after another with nothing else in between, and you don't end up with 한글?

Hangul on a Mac

Postby blaine8913 » April 13th, 2010 7:02 am

여보세요.
Found a good page explaining how to use Hangul on Mac OS X:
http://www.foolsworkshop.com/120a/koreanmac.html

My wife could not believe it! Hangul has been sitting there the whole time for her (she's a native speaker) but we didn't know to select the American flag up by the clock in the upper right hand corner to toggle back and forth.

By the way I'm new here.

That "hello" up above is my 1st Hangul on this keyboard. Thanks for the keyboard maps. This site rocks. I had no such resource available to me when I was trying to learn Korean some back in my ESL teaching days. There's hope.

경우에 맞춰서 사용하여 주세요 ^^ Madison/Team Koreanclass101.com

I've never been able to type Korean properly, maybe because it's so different from the way you type Chinese and Japanese (just type the romaji and it will turn into Kanji).
