Perhaps, I should have met you at your office!” You both agree it doesn’t matter now. All that matters now is spending some time together this weekend! Maybe the Korean tour guide will tell you… So you take a chance and ask him what fantastic Korean adventures he has in store for you tomorrow. The tour guide excitedly tells you in Korean, “Depending on the weather we will go to a famous Korean park!” Oohs and ahhs fill the air from the other sightseers, as the tour guide interrupts the excitement and interjects in Korean, “However, depending on what time everyone arrives, we may go to a magnificent Korean temple instead.” As gasps of enthusiasm once again surround you, the tour guide interrupt AGAIN and explains in Korean, “Or depending on how many people arrive…” Finally, unable to control yourself any longer, you interrupt the finicky tour guide and tell him in Korean, “Depending on whether you can make up your mind right now, we may or may not show up tomorrow!” It looks like you will be going to the park!

So you ask your best friend in Korean, “It happens that I have a few days off, what can we do this weekend?” Hesitantly, she looks at you almost as if she is afraid to speak, and quietly answers you in Korean, “It happens that I have to go on a business trip this weekend!” WHAT?! You have worked every weekend for the past three weeks and you finally have a weekend off to spend doing whatever you want in Korea…and she is working?! You almost yell at her asking where she is going! Even more afraid now, she answers you in Korean, “It happens that my boss is sending me to Thailand!” Pleading with her, you beg her in Korean, “How could this happen?
