In our last Innovative Language news lesson, we gave you our history and background. Was it glamorous as you hoped it’d be? Well, we’ve come a long way since recording our very first lesson back in 2005. Along the way, we’ve made some great friends, produced over 8,000 lessons and we still have lots to come! Some of our listeners have been tuning into our shows since the very beginning, so they know us pretty well. But some of you newbies may just be joining us for the first time this month. We owe you a proper introduction! Hello and nice to meet you!
We’re back with part 2 of the Behind the Scenes project. Today…we’re answering YOUR questions on air with a very special guest! Thank you to everyone who left questions! So, who have we invited into our studio to answer your questions? You’ll have to keep listening to find out!

You finally convinced your father that you can be trusted with his credit card to go shopping, which was tough after he received the last bill! But you promise this time…you are only going to Seoul to buy a new sweater. Once you get to the Korean shops though, you see they have the newest Korean fashions for this season out! Well, it won’t hurt to look… As you start looking through the racks, the Korean salespeople approach you, telling you how beautiful you would look in the new fashions. You tell them in Korean, “I cannot buy anything because my father will get angry!” Minutes later another clerk approaches and asks in Korean, “have you seen the latest styles, because they would look fabulous on you!” Promptly, you tell them in Korean, “It doesn’t matter because my father would kill me if I bought them!” Finally, another clerk approaches you and says in Korean, “you should try the new styles because they were made for you!” Unable to fight them off any longer, you reply in Korean, “please, show me your latest styles in SWEATERS, because otherwise my father will kill me!” At least this way you both win…

Or is it fate that you simply woke up this morning? Some people in Korea and elsewhere around the world certainly think so.
