You have been trying to study all day, but every time you start studying your Korean language lessons again, someone calls or knocks on the door and interrupts you! You are trying to study how to tell people NOT to do something in Korean, when the phone rings again! There’s no time like the present to practice! You pick up the phone and tell your friend in Korean, “Don’t call me!” Moments later, your friend is at the door! Crazed, you throw open the door and scream in Korean, “I’m busy! Don’t come in!” Your friend attempts to block the door closing with her arm, and you open it back up yelling more panicked in Korean, “I am too busy! Don’t bother me!” Twenty minutes later the phone rings AGAIN! You answer the phone, blood boiling and pulse racing, “Don’t disturb me while I’m studying Korean!” Calmly, she tells you in Korean, “Well…just don’t answer the phone then!” AHHHH!!!!

Here are a couple of examples of the usage of “-지 마세요”:

떠들지 마세요 - Please do not make noise (Verb stem 떠들다 - to make noise)

울지 마세요 - Please do not cry (Verb Stem 울다 - to cry)

I hope this helps:)

Thanks a lot for those examples! I’m sure it helped!

시민 :)
Great job!
To make it a little more natural,
실수하 지마세요 –> 실수하지 마세요.
늦 지마세요 –> 늦지 마세요 :)

firsty :)
Hehe. Nice examples.
“저는 너를 사랑해요” is not bad but
저 is polite
and 너 is intimate :)
So if you want to say “저” you can say “저는 당신을 사랑해요” or just say “사랑해요” only.

Great sentence :)
But since you said “하지 마세요” at the end, you can say
“도착해야 하거든요” in the middle as well to make it sound more natural ^^

Tommy Leigh :)
Haha. Thank you for the comment!!!

Katrin :)
하하 재미있는 예문들이에요 :)

코멘트 남김 잊지 마세요, or
코멘트 남기는 게 잊지 마세요, or
잊지 말고 코멘트 남기세요.
(which one sounds more natural…if any ?)

Eric :)

코멘트 남기는 거 잊지 마세요.
잊지 말고 코멘트 남기세요.

Are the most common ways to say it :)
