I understand that at weddings, it's common just to give money in Korea. But for housewarmings, I wonder if there's an equivalent of a "gift registry"? That would be a way to prevent couples from getting a thousand rolls of toilet paper or seven sets of dishes...</description>

만약에 결혼 후에 집들이를 하면 사람들이 좋아할 것 같아요. 하지만 안 해도 상관은 없을 거에요. 보통 집들이는 남자의 가족들, 여자의 가족들, 친구들, 직장, 다 따로따로 해요. 만약 다 한 다면 집들이를 4번 하게 되는거죠.

한국에서 한국사람과 결혼한 외국인도 결혼 후 집들이 하리라고들 기대하겠나요? 외국인의 가족이랑 친구들이 다 고국에 있을텐데 그렇다면 부부 중에 한국인의 가족이랑 친구들만 와도 되겠죠? 가족이랑 친구들이 따로 온다고 하셨는데 한 사람의 가족들만 와도 되겠어요? 그건 집들이라고 할 수 있겠어요? 인척들이 다 와야 집들이가 아닐까요?
