Learn Korean with KoreanClass101.com! You have been preparing for this day for many, many years…and now it’s here. All the hours of your father screaming at you in Korean, “Can’t you see the road signs?!” All the hours of begging to borrow the car “just this once” with your parents yelling back in Korean, “You will never use our car until you get your driver’s license!!” Here you are. And you absolutely cannot drive in Korea without passing your driving test first. So all that stands between you and countless summer nights of cruising the streets of Tokyo with a lovely Korean lady by your side, taking that lovely lady shopping in Seoul, and creating memories with your friends in Korea that will last a lifetime, is passing this driving exam!!! Before you enter the building, you tell your parents in Korean, “I am not good at written exams, but I am very good at practical exams. Nevertheless, I am very scared of the driving test!” In a tear-jerking moment of support, your parents reply in Korean, “If you want words of encouragement, ask your friends at KoreanClass101.com!” That was completely uncalled for…but we’re always here for you!

I really like the advanced lessons. I wish they would be longer and come out more frequently. I especially liked the way ‘The Importance of Sleep’ was put together. The vocabulary was covered and sentences re-phrased using more familiar words. It’s easy to get lost and lose focus when listening to a long dialog with several new words in each sentence. But when a sentence is re-phrased in a simple way it’s possible to regain focus. It seems there’s a fairly wide gap in complexity between the advanced and intermediate lessons. Perhaps incorporating the re-phrased sentences in the advanced lessons would help to bridge the gap and make it easier for folks in the intermediate level to make the transition.
