Austin, thanks for the great explanation :)
And yes, 설명 다 맞아!! ㅎ

Matt :)
A lesson about the phrases used in lessons would be fun too! Hehe. But in the meanwhile, if you come across anything that we say in a lesson that you would to have broken down for you, just leave a comment and let us know at what second you heard it :D

Erich :)

맞아요 ㅎㅎㅎ "수박 있어요" "냉장고 삽니다" They're a kind of 방송 too, but we don't use the word "방송" to refer to them specifically :) If I were to refer to it using the word 방송, however, I would say something like 트럭에서 하는 방송 ^^ ㅎ

About 방송: I've come across another usage than radio, TV and podcast: loudspeakers. For example when talking of the fruit-selling or electronics recycling vans: they drive through town while "broadcasting" their ad: "we are selling watermelons" respectively "we are buying fridges, computers, air conditioners...". True, it's similar to radio but the medium is so different that I think it worth mentioning.

Matt..

~죠 is a contraction of the ending 지요.

It carries the nuance of "...... is so, right?"

koreanclass101.com이 좋죠?
Kclass is good, isn't it?

닐씨가 너무 줍죠?
it's really cold today, isn't it?

우리 선생님은 호주에서 왔죠?
Our teacher is from Australia, right?

주말에 잘지냈죠?
You had a good weekend, didn't you?

누구 시죠?
This one still means "who is it?" I think it is equivalent to "누구세요"

And one question. What is "-죠"? I see it everywhere:
-누구 시죠?
-잘 지내시죠?

Thanks again!

Sorry! Did you say "이렇게 나왔죠!"? Would it be possible for KC101 to do some lessons on phrases used during lessons? I think that would be very helpful. And it would be good to see the phrases written down. 고마워요!
