Korean couples can be extremely lovey dovey. Korean girls hanging from their boyfriend’s arms, and Korean boys showering their girlfriends with gifts and flowers - not all that unusual. But in this lesson, you’ll be learning about an odd couple as you learn Korean. Dating in Korea is not what will be displayed in this 100% Korean conversation. In this lesson, we’ll go over an extremely important Korean grammatical pattern. We’ll be going over the present progressive in Korean! talking

avatar Chriss says:

Is it possible to say “아까부터 기다리고 있어요?”

Jacqueline :)

Congratulations!!

(Thanks for being with us for a year!!)

avatar 선현우 says:

Chriss :)

If you want to say “I’ve been waiting, and I’m still waiting, and what I’m waiting hasn’t happened yet” you can say “아까부터 기다리고 있어요”

But if what you were waiting for already happened now and it’s here, so if you’re no longer waiting, then you can say “아까부터 기다리고 있었어요” :)

Max :)
