Good question.

“게” in “맛있게” and
“게” in “알겠어요” are actually not the same “게”.

The description verb’s verb stem + 게
usually forms the adverb form of that verb.

예쁘다 (to be pretty) –> 예쁘게 (prettily)
빠르다 (to be quick) –> 빠르게 (quickly) but 빨리 is also “quickly”
맛있다 (to be delicious) –> 맛있게 (deliciously)

And,

“게” in the verbs expresses the speaker’s subjective intention, but 알겠습니다 and 모르겠습니다 are a bit exceptional so please remember them just as phrases that each mean “I got it.” and “I don’t know/I don’t get it.”

The difference between the two sentences is that 받는 것 같아요 is that he seems to be receiving stress. and 받을 것 같아요 is that he seems like he will receive stress.

는 것 같아 is referring to something that is happening now
을 것 같아 is referring to something that will likely happen in the future.

For Example:

비 오는 것 같아 - I think it’s raining (now).
비 올 것 같아 - I think it will rain (soon).
