여러분한테는 뭐가 “끝내줘요”?
(What “finishes” you?)

i like this lessons a lot
i wonder if i can use this phrase while drinking a cold beer on a hot day
something like ” that hit the spot “

rigo
exactly!
After drinking some cold beer you can say,
“아, 끝내준다!” or “끝내주게 맛있다!” or “끝내주게 시원하다”

i think that we use this expression quite a lot.
와~~ 죽인다!
오~~ 죽이는데?
(more than 죽여준다 or 죽여주는데)

Have fun using it!
Manyakumi, 맞아요… it’s used in different variations, and I think the ones that you mentioned are used more often
Austin - it seems to be working for me. What kind of error are you getting?
Friday at 4:25 pm
There was no error message, they just would just time out….
But no problem now. Both files I was missing came through!

What a coincidence! I had just encountered this slang last week. I was watching Funny Games with a friend (an American remake of a scary German movie), and it had Korean subtitles, which I couldn’t help try reading.
At one point, one of the characters tries out a golf club, and is really impressed with it. I don’t quite remember what he said in English, but it was something along the lines of “awesome, really great!” These lines got translated as 끝내 주는데!, and I was able to figure out the meaning from there.

안녕하세요
저는 오늘 새 핸드폰이 받았어요. 제 핸드폰은 끝내 주는데!!! ㅋㅋ
Wednesday at 11:30 am
우와
ㅎㅎ
좋겠어요!! 저도 새 핸드폰 사고 싶은데, 아마 1년 동안은 안 살 것 같아요 ^^ ㅎㅎ
(You must be excited! I want to buy a new cellphone too, but I’m probably not going to buy one within a year)
그리고 앞에서 ‘-요’라고 했으면 “끝내 주는데요”라고 하는 것이 더 좋아요 ^_^
Wednesday at 11:36 am
okie dokie…lol 제 핸드폰은 끝내 주는데요
Wednesday at 11:38 am
ㅎㅎㅎ 부러워요! I’m jealous!
Wednesday at 11:42 am

Wednesday at 11:45 am
하하. 핸드폰을 저랑 나누어 쓰면 제임스 씨가 너무 불편하게 되니까, 제가 참을게요
Wednesday at 11:50 am

와 ! 이 레슨 끝내 주는데 ! 진짜 멋있어 ! 이 표현을 자주 쓸 것 같아
By the way, I like the fact you’ve got a Synonyms column in your vocabulary section. Too bad you don’t have it on all the lessons. It’d be nice to have an antonym/opposite column, too. Just a thought.
