(there’s not a lot of time, so send them quickly!)
Wednesday at 7:05 pm
My microphone is broken so I will record on my makeshift iPod from Hong Kong and do a mime or some photos or something on my webcam. I think this is awesome.
Oh and is there a deadline for these self introduction videos? And how do you say “self-introduction” in Korean? And how do you say “How do you say …. in Korean?” in Korean? Thanx!
Wednesday at 8:43 pm
Great! I look forward to your videos!
Please try making one and submit it quickly!

Hey Matthew, “Self-Introduction” in Korean is 자기 소개. And “How do you say… in Korean” in Korean is
Hope this helps! And I’ll be looking forward to your video. Yours too Austin!

I was really excited when I saw the Homework news….Yay we are going interactive, awesome. I think we should have at least one per week.
Thursday at 7:30 am
Uh-oh…I agree with Seol, it’s scary
But I guess it’s time to get pushed out of the comfort zone…
And my big problem is that I have about 2,546 things I would like to say, and at my level now, I can only say about 3 of the least interesting ones
Thursday at 7:36 am
Thursday at 10:07 am
This is a great idea, KoreanClass!
I’m very excited to see the final product of everyone’s work!
Thursday at 10:13 am
wow that’s a great idea , but
my prehistoric pc and my poor korean might be a problem
anyway i would like to see the final product too
Thursday at 10:36 am
what’s up guys…I just sent out my video. I did it via webcam since I don’t have the stuff to put my video up from my Camcorder.
I just kept it simple because i’m having problems saying what i wanna say on point in korean.
Thursday at 10:43 am
That’s exactly it! rigo, bouks, get out of your comfort zone!!
That’s one of the key factors in learning a language… being uncomfortable
Or at least that’s what I think…
Thursday at 10:45 am
Hopefully I can get my webcam working before the deadline >.>
Bouks: I’m in your boat.. there’s so many things I would like to say but unfortunately I can barely say my introduction properly

Okaaaayyyy I sent mine in…wanted to get it over with quickly! It was indeed out of my comfort zone. But I tried to at least make it amusing
Please be kind and don’t use it to blackmail me later
Friday at 6:43 am
OK, I’ll give this a go… (now I’m committed ).
I thought the generic for “John Smith” or “John Doe” was 홍길동?
Friday at 7:21 am
I sent in mine, I just hope it turned out okay.
Friday at 11:14 am
:???: whats Amberlee in Korean???
Oh and this is so cool!!! I cant wait!
Friday at 11:22 am
Am-bel-li?
Friday at 11:30 am
Bouks and Edward
Steve,
Friday at 11:32 am
Amberlee would be
앰벌리 - depending on how you pronounce it ^^
If you read your name like the Korean romanization system, it would be 암벨리 like 알렉 said ^^ and if you want to put the pronunciation into Hangul it would be 앰벌리
Friday at 11:37 am
Oh cool!!!!!!!!!!!!
im gonna label my name EVERYWHERE!!!!
Friday at 11:41 am
Friday at 11:41 am
Nice
It’s a very pretty name!
If you want to practice writing it down in your own handwriting, how about sharing it in the forum ?
Click on this link to see some other’s handwriting. hehe.
Friday at 11:44 am
Friday at 11:49 am
ok thanks
Friday at 12:36 pm
Alright!
I’m glad people are getting into this. Doing it regularly (whether or not there’s official homework) will really help you out!
I’m afraid I’ve fallen hopelessly behind in my own quest to make videos for all the Audio Blogs…but my homework is on it’s way
Friday at 12:41 pm
(Amberlee),
Austin(오민)
Friday at 2:12 pm
Austin, you are king of KoreanClass video. Your Korean is beyond my level, but I did look at some of your videos and I appreciate the effort you put into them. We should all be as diligent.

Wednesday at 2:21 pm
Heh heh, except for my part it was fabulous
(Like my castanets? )
Keith is right, I “uptalk” at the end of my sentences. What is up with me? (And I pick on my daughter for doing that in English.) Clearly videos are useful language tools.
It was great seeing everyone’s faces and hearing everyone speak. You are all fabulous.
We definitely should do this more often, even though I greatly prefer doing audio tracks. (Comfort zone, and all.)
Next time, I’ll play the doumbek (Egyptian drum), how’s that?
