Level: Newbie Season 2
As you sit in the Korean restaurant with your girlfriends, you try to catch up on all the gossip from the past week. Since you just began learning Korean, it is good for you to gossip like this in Korean because you get to practice speaking in Korean…at least that’s what you tell everyone else! The Korean waiter approaches your table and takes your friend’s orders. He turns to you and you tell him in Korean that all you want is some green tea and then you turn to listen in on the gossip again! The Korean waiter interrupts and asks if you would also like some cake? You politely tell him no in Korean, but he asks again about something else…and then again, and again! How do you make him understand you ONLY want tea???
