:razz:Hello Kim,

This is Jaehwi from Koreanclass101.com

That's right. 랑 means 'with', so you can replace it with the particles 와 or 과 when you mean 'with' or 'along'.

However, 랑 is more informal than 와/과, so I'd like to recommend you use 와/과 for the formal sentences.

Thank you.

Is -(이)랑 also similar to 과 and 와? If not, what is the distinction? Thanks!!

Have just completed beginner series 1! I am British and I am learning Korean and Japanese. I already know Spanish upto intermediate level.

Luckily there are many international people in my city and I have Korean and Japanese friends I can practice with. I am really focussing on my Korean at the moment. I really feel I am making good progress.

I am loving Korean Class 101. I am so glad it exists! It is my favourite way to learn.

For "with," I have been saying "친구와 함께" instead of "친구랑."
I never imagined that I was such a walking textbook!

The knocking on the door was so funny. This has been a very entertaining and fun way to learn Korean! A request would be to have the verbs that are listed in the vocab audio list also be conjugated in past tense or whatever tense the particular lesson is teaching. Practicing them only in the infinite isn't helpful for trying to remember all the new tenses we are learning. Thanks!

As for 우리 아들 영화를 보고 싶었어요,
you can add it or leave it out ^_^ :)

And 랑 and 하고 - they are almost always interchangeable ^_^.

I really like the dialogs :)
They make me laugh and learn Korean at the same time.
Please keep making such fun (drama) stories.
Thank you very much!!

Hmm, 태현씨는 괜찬아요. atleast he didn't give her false hope. However, 나래 should have been honest. Maybe Haeyoung wouldn't have been so adamant.

Rejections sucks for anyone haha

Can't wait till next series
