As that’s the case, we’ll be going over an essential phrase that’s used in dire situations. Listen in to find out about this phrase, and many more important phrases! GO RYUJI! La Vendetta. FIGHTING! haha
Lol it’s kind of funny how Ryuji is still polite with the Hyeongsa.
But i wonder what happened with Ryuji’s case though.
근데 여기다 이런 질문 해도 되나…
오른쪽에 나오는 아바타 어떻게 나오게 하나요?
눌러 보니까 GRAVATAR라는 곳이 나오길래 사인업하고 사진 올리긴 했는데 안뜨네요?
Manyak… www.gravatar.com 이미 가봤어요? 회원가입했고 사진을 올린 일이 있어요? 아찍 안 나왔어요? 이상해요!
Whoa… I sort of feel like there are still a bunch of unanswered questions!
I’m still not sure Ryuji is not a bad guy. Hyeongsa is worse, though … But what was Ryuji doing with a knife in the first place ???
I like today’s lesson. I always hear the word 안 돼 on tv, but i didn’t really know the exact meaning, i knew it was something like No, but i didn’t know when to use.
Besides meaning: No, it can’t be
Does it also mean: Not Okay ?
Sure, you can use it to scold people:
그러면 안 돼.
That’s not okay. (What you’re doing)
so the detective was not able to tell a butter knife from any other kind
very good vocab
you guys are gonna make more right?!?!?!
cause im still a newbie !!!
hey, umm…i talked to my mom and she agreed to get me a premium subscription
but im a little confused because when i tried to get the 7 day trial it kept saying that i need to use my email to register and i already did..and then when i tried to log in again it said i need to use the email to register…if that happens with the premium and it doesnt work can i get my money back??:???:
haha sorry if i sound greedy but i just want to check
Hey Jeff, don’t worry about it! If that happens, please just send us an e-mail, and we’ll make sure it works!
Thanks, I liked the series, not so much because of the story (although that was entertaining), but because it introduced a lot of useful vocab and phrases.
I’m just wondering how the newbie, beginner and intermediate series link up… I mean, when one finishes the newbie, is he at the level to tackle beginner, and so on? Or is it ok too if one does them all concurrently?
Thankyou so much! Luvin this. Absolutely! This is the fourth method i have tried in learning this language and you are the BEST by far! . . . . group hug! mmwwaa! lol
Shan - sorry for the delayed response… It doesn’t happen very often, but I guess it got lost!
As for your question… this particular Newbie Series was created with the premise of explaining things by patterns, and not by going into the grammar. But each lesson builds upon the last lesson. Our Newbie Season 2 is modular, and each lesson is a self contained lesson that has no relation to the last lesson or the first lesson. All the lesson in Newbie Season 2 are the same level.
You should move onto Beginner if you’re ready to tackle the language in more depth. Beginner Season 1 is at a similar level as Newbie Season 1, but in this case it actually explains the grammar. Beginner Season 2 continues on from Beginner Season 1 and builds upon the previous Beginner lessons.
I hope this explains! And if it doesn’t, I’m sure it’ll be useful for some of our other listeners with similar questions.
Trixie - Glad you enjoyed the series! Please feel free to leave any lesson suggestions you may have! We try to accommodate everyone.
lishuys - I’m very glad that you enjoyed this lesson! Please let us know if you have any suggestions, and what you think may help make KoreanClass101.com the best site you’ve ever seen
Last nite when i finished all of the Newbie S1 lessons, I tuned into the last episode of the New Heart kdrama that I have been fanading and one character said: “jinjja!” lol. I was so ecstatic to understand it . . . . so, kahamsamnida, koh-mahp-soomnida and all the other korean thankyou words in their most politest form with a deep bow from the wast and hands clasped
Yipppeee!! I’m progressing . . . .
great to hear that you’re progressing lishuys!! That exactly what we’re trying to do here… get all our students to progress… Thank you for stopping by, and letting us know!
I haven’t been watching Kdrama’s lately, but Korean dramas is definitely one of the best ways to improve your Korean!
