Kim, I don't know how I did it.
When I got here, I just told the computer repairman that I wanted my computer rigged up for typing in Korean and he rigged it up.

Hello Thomas,
서울을 피해요? 그러지 마세요~~
사실... 반대로 생각을 해보세요... "simply think an opposite!"
Why are Koran people afraid of talking you in Korean?
Because it's NOT because of you BUT because of them not being able to speak in English. They are afraid that they might say or use some English when they talk with you. That's why!
Don't wait for them to speak out to you. It's your job to break the 'wall' between you and them. I personally did that when I was in Canada.

Here is my question for you...
"Do you want have Korean friends?", "Do you want to know them better?", "Do you want to learn Korean from Korean friends?", "Do you like learning Korean?"
If your answer is "Yes", what are you waiting for!!???
Your time is precious! Your time is limited! Your opportunity is limited. You have to "make things happen", never "watch things happen" or never say to yourself, "what's happening?". It's your life!
I can see that you want to be close with Korean people. It's UPTO you!
cheers, Thomas~~ :razz::wink::eek:

저기에 나에게 한국어로 말하는 한국인이 너무 적습니다.

Hi everyone, I'll just drop a random post here.

I just did beginner lessons 1-19 yesterday and today so I've been listening to Keith and 설 for like 8 hours in a row. I figured why say anything until I reach the end of the beginner series but hey, why not start here ;). I feel really sorry for what happened to 남대문, I heard about it last year the day after it had happened.. I'm still going to check it out though next summer when I'm in Korea.

Gotta go, 80 more beginner lessons to cover this weekend ;). I've already been studying Korean at the university (as a major) for a year but I figured it'd be best to just listen to the beginner first before I get into intermediate.. See you there, bye :)

Hi,
I started a few days ago with koreanclass101 (already two weeks ago maybe) so I saw the PDF today. I was very surprised that you wrote about the fire at Namdaemun, even so the lesson was made in December 2007 and the fire occured in October 2008. Good work everyone to keep everything on the newest. I really enjoy kc101 and feel friendship especially towards Keith, Seol and Hyunwoo. They appear so much. Thank you for giving me a good time. I wonder what will happen between Seol and Keith. Hyunwoo, good work also on your other HPs.
반갑습니다!
