Today’s Intermediate Drama Series is a a 25-part intermediate series, which has a self contained story. Within these stories, we’ll be focusing on words and phrases and their usages. We will have grammar points as well, but will be focusing more on words and phrases. After listening, be sure to let us know what you think!

No please continue the line by line…..I really really liked this lesson. It wasn’t overloaded, I liked the explanations and examples.
This is the way all language lessons should be, there must be an explanation of why things happen in speech instead of just saying “thats the way it is”. It gives the learner a base on how to use words together to make sentences of their own.

I also like that throughout the explanation, you continued to ask and answer questions in Korean/English without bothering to DIRECTLY translate. Some translation to follow is OK, but I think it’s important for the learner to struggle a bit at this level and draw their own conclusions.
I thought it was neat that sometimes you would ask a question in English (or Korean) and it was answered in the opposite language. That allows the listener to use their own brain in discerning meaning.
Or someone would paraphrase the response.
–”자주 스는…입니다” ( 더 못 들었어요)
and then Keith responded “Because you use it often…”
I really liked that feature of this lesson.

Cool lesson! I’m glad you’re starting to try out some intermediate lessons.
I especially like the slang explanations, things like “왜 그래”? When Korean’s spoken quickly, I have trouble understanding even when I actually know the words. By going over it again, even using the “line by line,” I was able to understand almost every word in the dialogue at the end of the lesson, when it was repeated. The exception was during some of the mom’s lines, like “why aren’t you coming down?”
But yeah, you might need to keep the line by line translation. It does make it longer, but…

사실에, 이번주 동안 7교시만 가르치해야 애. 화고 소 가르치 해야한 학생들 소풍이 있었어. 고대 아이스 린크에 스카이팅 하러 갔어. 다움주에 3일동안 6학년 학생들 수학 여행 하러 경주에 갈게. 저 도 가고 싶지만 우리 교장 산생님의 승인을 받지 않으면 안 돼 .

Really liked that lesson. I much prefer to go in at the deeper end once I have the very basics, always more fun
